Liam Flynn’s Ale House is still being built. Work has been slow, but we’re still plugging away. In the mean time, a Glasgow Celtic F.C. Supporters Club (CSC) has been in the works. We’re trying to get enough people to commit to paying to watch Celtic and Gaelic Athletic Assoc. matches. This would help a lot of fans enjoy the teams they love with a lot less transportation hassels. The Ale House being only 3 streets North of Penn Station. 22 W. North Ave.

The Work Continues

With a little more than 1 month til opening, Liam Flynn’s Ale House is slowly coming together. Here, Dave Scheper is working behind his metal drink rail. You can see that the front brick work still hasn’t been removed to make room for the front facade. Even though every aspect of the pub is being worked on; bar, draft system, facade and floors, I getting a little nervous about making deadline for the World Cup.

The Pub Passed First Round!

The Pub passed the “ruff in” inspections by the City today. That means that the walls can finally be closed up and we can start to paint. I will be e-mail the Exiles for help to move through the painting process.

I hope all the Pub Exiles enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day Parade today! I wish someone would pull together a San Patricio Battalion squad. It would be fun to see people’s response. Obviously the pub won’t be open for the holiday, but we’re still plugging a away. I will be working my hole off at Ryan’s Daughter until Thursday. I’ll post pub construction pics then.

Our modest kegroom has been built and painted. Shelves have been added. The next step is installing the compressor. I’m suppose to pick up the HVAC tech’s proposal today.
